Join Ramblers Wellbeing Walks South Craven in Glusburn, a friendly, volunteer-led walking group offering gentle Monday morning walks to help you get active, boost mood and meet new local friends.
Set up in 2008, South Craven Walking 4 Health is a volunteer-led scheme supporting people to become and stay active — particularly those with chronic health problems, recuperating from illness, operation or injury, managing their mental or emotional health, needing a break from the stresses of life, or simply not feeling confident to walk alone.
Walks are between 30 and 90 minutes, with pace, length and gradient chosen to suit different abilities, along varied routes in and around South Craven villages. Shared transport to the walk starts and refreshments afterwards are arranged, so as well as the health benefits, you’ll get to enjoy the local scenery, share heritage knowledge, and meet new people along the way.
Monday mornings, variable dates.
A full programme of dates is provided once you register.
Get in touch with the Membership Secretary to check the walks are suitable for you before joining your first walk. Walk leaders are also always warmly welcomed.
