Volunteering makes me feel that I am not only helping my community but also helping myself. It’s good to know we have a local community centre, providing lots of different activities. Somewhere you can go to see a film, watch a band, take part in a quiz or just drop in for a coffee and chat, so many more different kinds of activities and entertainment for everyone. Through my volunteer role I have met lots of nice people and have made many new friends.
