Join Little Learners in Glusburn, a multi award-winning children’s activity provider offering educational messy play classes for babies to preschoolers, built around the innovative mark making programme The Mark Makers.

Little Learners was created and founded by a qualified primary teacher, who designed the programme around the journey of four fun characters — the Mark Makers. Children focus on a different character each week, exploring messy play, painting, play dough, scribbling, dance and more, all designed to encourage mark making and early writing skills through play.

Your child will be encouraged to use hands, fingers, feet and toes to make marks, helping to strengthen core muscles and develop gross and fine motor skills — vital foundations for holding and controlling a pencil, and for letter and number formation when they reach school age.

Our aim is to make writing fun, and to encourage every child to make their mark!

Little Learners also offers classes, parties and events, and undertakes work in schools and early years settings, suitable for children aged 5 months to 5 years and following EYFS guidance.
