Come along to our Social Games Group in Glusburn for an afternoon of favourite games in a relaxed, friendly setting, a lovely way to meet new friends or old ones.
Whatever games you enjoy, there’s usually a table for it. Rummikub is a firm favourite among the sitting-down games — quick to learn, with no scorer needed, though it can be played to a surprisingly high standard by those who like a challenge! For anyone after something a little different, there’s usually a game of chess, Scrabble, backgammon or Qwirkle on the go too, along with word game favourites like Boggle and Upwords for those who enjoy a bit of wordplay.
Fancy something more active? We also have two table tennis tables set up, perfect for a friendly game and a bit of gentle exercise.
Whether you’re a regular or trying us for the first time, everyone is welcome to bring along a favourite game or simply join in with what’s already on the table.
£3 per session, including a drink and a biscuit.
