DESCRIPTION:Join Social Singalong in Glusburn\, a friendly\, fun and completely free singing for wellbeing group for all ages and abilities\, with proven benefits for physical and mental health and wellbeing. \nIt doesn’t matter if you think you “can’t sing” — this isn’t a choir\, it’s just for fun. Drop in for a warm drink and a chat from 1:50pm\, with the singalong itself starting at 2:00pm. Will leads the group through familiar pop songs and hits from the shows\, with words provided and a backing track to sing along to. \nThis is social time as much as singing time — expect a proper natter about favourite music and films\, bands you’ve seen over the years\, and the memories and stories that songs bring back. Every session starts with a fun\, regular warm-up\, and the whole group is supportive and inclusive\, whatever your experience or confidence level. \nSinging in a group has many proven benefits for physical and mental health and wellbeing\, and can be particularly beneficial for people living with dementia or lung conditions. \nFree — all welcome\, just drop in.  \nWeekly\, Thursdays from 2:00pm. \nPlease give us a call before attending for the first time\, in case of holidays.
