DESCRIPTION:Join Glusburn Dementia Hub at Glusburn Institute\, run by Dementia Friendly Keighley\, offering engaging\, dementia-friendly activities in a warm\, safe and welcoming environment for people with dementia\, carers and families. \nAre you or a loved one living with dementia? Each session is designed to support and uplift those with a diagnosis of dementia\, in a relaxed and welcoming space — with caregivers and family members welcome too. \nThe hub is run as part of the community outreach work of Dementia Friendly Keighley\, a small local charity working to transform the way communities think\, talk and act about dementia — improving awareness\, challenging stigma and encouraging positive conversations\, while helping people living with dementia and those who care for them feel valued\, included and connected. \nWeekly\, Wednesdays from 1:00pm. \nOur weekly singing for health session\, Social Singalong\, may also be of interest. The group is very inclusive\, and singing is proven to be beneficial for people with a diagnosis of dementia.
