DESCRIPTION:Come along to our Social Games Group in Glusburn for an afternoon of favourite games in a relaxed\, friendly setting\, a lovely way to meet new friends or old ones. \nWhatever games you enjoy\, there’s usually a table for it. Rummikub is a firm favourite among the sitting-down games — quick to learn\, with no scorer needed\, though it can be played to a surprisingly high standard by those who like a challenge! For anyone after something a little different\, there’s usually a game of chess\, Scrabble\, backgammon or Qwirkle on the go too\, along with word game favourites like Boggle and Upwords for those who enjoy a bit of wordplay. \nFancy something more active? We also have two table tennis tables set up\, perfect for a friendly game and a bit of gentle exercise. \nWhether you’re a regular or trying us for the first time\, everyone is welcome to bring along a favourite game or simply join in with what’s already on the table. \n£3 per session\, including a drink and a biscuit. \nWeekly\, Tuesdays from 1:15pm
