Falling Stars Theatre: Recall
An 80s disco celebrating life and love - but beware! Hidden amongst those nostalgic tunes lurk memories... some intentionally hidden for decades.
02 Oct 2021, 20:00 – 23:00
Glusburn Community & Arts Centre, Colne Rd, Glusburn, Keighley BD20 8FQ, UK
This immersive theatrical experience juxtaposes a party atmosphere with a dark, sombre and, at times, unsettling plot. Sophie has organised a surprise 80s party for her parents and you are invited! The party flashes back and forward in time from 1989 to the present exploring different character's memories of what happened that night when Alex met Nick.
The hour performance will culminate in an 80s disco where you are invited to dance the night away.

About the Artists
Falling Stars Theatre was founded in 2014, partly in response to a plea from Fallfest to introduce a new style of theatre to its Community Festival audience. Director, Rebecca Durham decided on a Promenade piece to involve, engage and challenge the audience.
Since that time the local community has asked to bring Falling Stars Theatre back and they have performed a Steven Berkoff piece ‘Dahling, You Were Marvellous,’ ‘Two’ by Jim Cartwright and ‘The Last Resort’ by Chris Owen. Experiencing life with the characters whether that is the pub, the beach or the theatre. The actors will engage with the audience, move in and around the space and change the dynamics of the traditional actor/ audience relationship. This creates an engaging and exciting theatrical experience.
Falling Stars Theatre are known for their immersive style of performance, involving the audience at the heart of the action and making them feel as if they are experiencing life with the characters.
